New Patients

Welcome to Scottsdale Animal Hospital & Phoenix Mobile Veterinarians

We are excited to welcome you and your pet to Scottsdale Animal Hospital & Phoenix Mobile Veterinarians. Our locally owned veterinary practice provides care in two connected ways: full-service hospital care at our Scottsdale animal hospital and select in-home services through Phoenix Mobile Veterinarians.
Whether your pet needs a wellness exam, vaccines, dental care, bloodwork, X-rays, surgery, senior pet support, or mobile veterinary care at home, our goal is to make the process clear, comfortable, and easy to understand.
Appointments are required so our team can prepare for your pet’s needs and determine whether hospital care or mobile care is the best fit.

What to Expect as a New Patient

Your first visit is an opportunity for our team to get to know you, your pet, and your goals for their care. We will review your pet’s health history, discuss any current concerns, perform a thorough exam, and talk through recommendations based on your pet’s age, lifestyle, and medical needs.
Depending on your pet’s needs, your appointment may include:
  • A nose-to-tail physical exam
  • Vaccine recommendations
  • Parasite prevention discussion
  • Dental health evaluation
  • Nutrition and weight guidance
  • Bloodwork or diagnostic recommendations
  • Senior pet health screening
  • Chronic condition management planning
  • Discussion of hospital vs. mobile care options
We believe pet owners should understand what we see, what we recommend, and why. Our team will take time to answer your questions and help you feel confident about your pet’s next steps.

Visiting Our Scottsdale Animal Hospital

Our Scottsdale animal hospital is the best setting for pets who need advanced diagnostics, dental cleanings, oral surgery, soft tissue surgery, spay and neuter procedures, X-rays, anesthesia, or closer medical monitoring.
If your pet needs a service that cannot be safely performed at home, our team will recommend an in-hospital appointment.

Scheduling Mobile Veterinary Care In Greater Phoenix

Phoenix Mobile Veterinarians provides select in-home veterinary services for dogs and cats in Scottsdale, Phoenix, Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills, Mesa, Tempe, and nearby areas.
Mobile care may be a good fit for anxious pets, senior pets, multi-pet households, or pets who have difficulty traveling. Mobile visits may include wellness exams, vaccines, infection treatment, bloodwork collection, quality-of-life consultations, and in-home euthanasia when appropriate.

New Patient Forms

To help us provide the best possible care, please complete any requested forms before your appointment. These forms allow our team to review important details about your pet, prepare for your visit, and make your appointment more efficient.
Common forms may include:

Payment and Pet Insurance Information

Payment is due at the time of service. Pet insurance works differently than human health insurance, so clients pay the veterinary bill directly and may submit their invoice to their pet insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
We work with pet owners who have pet insurance by providing invoices they can submit to their insurance provider. CareCredit is accepted. United Pet Care is not accepted.
If you have questions about payment options, our team is happy to help explain what to expect before your visit.

Transferring Your Pet’s Medical Records

If your pet has been seen by another veterinarian, please request that their medical records be sent to our team before your first appointment. Prior records can help us better understand your pet’s vaccine history, lab results, medications, allergies, previous diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Having this information ahead of time allows our veterinarians to make more informed recommendations during your visit.

Accessibility and Comfort

Our Scottsdale animal hospital is designed to be welcoming and accessible. The practice offers wheelchair accessible seating, a wheelchair accessible restroom, and a gender-neutral restroom. We are also an LGBTQ+ friendly veterinary practice.
If you or your pet have specific needs before your visit, please let our team know when scheduling your appointment.
